A-Team Marketing campaign-
In my opinion, the marketing campaign was brilliant. The combination of individual and group posters and trailers created the perfect atmosphere for an action adventure film. The advertising accompanied by the premier was loved by all action adventure watchers due to the high levels of testosterone, crazy ideas, and the personalities surrounding it.
- A website - pre release and post release plus blue ray film site
- A teaser trailer - a short set of clips from the film to hook the audience
- A normal trailer - containing the best action sequences and lines from the film, it used the normal codes and conventions of A-A trailers
- An individual trailer - a short clip was released on each character
- Posters - placed everywhere, these either had a member of the team on it or the four of them, with the tag line
- Old tv series episodes were made into new box sets - this increased revenue and got older audiences interested
- DVD and Blu-ray copies of the film, including uncut versions and extended action versions were released
- The Soundtrack from the original tv series was remastered and released for download. This was great as older audiences who watched the tv series could remember the tune and were drawn in.
- Miniature figurines and die cast models were produced for the younger audiences to play with and for those collecting model, this increased revenue
- The cast featured/took part in numerous photo shoots
Publicity-
- Film premier with the full cast of the film
- Also attended by many other stars
- Finished of by the A-Team van, A Tank and A Helicopter

When Doug's father, an Air Force Pilot, is shot down by MiGs belonging to a radical Middle Eastern state, no one seems able to get him out. Doug finds Chappy, an Air Force Colonel who is intrigued by the idea of sending in two fighters piloted by himself and Doug to rescue Doug's father after bombing the MiG base. Their only problems: Borrowing two fighters, getting them from California to the Mediteranean without anyone noticing, and Doug's inability to hit anything unless he has music playing.
